CryptoPass

Cookie policy

This page explains how CryptoPass uses cookies and similar technologies (including local storage keys). For a broader view of how we handle personal data, read our Privacy policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. They can be session-based (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (stored longer). Similar technologies include pixels and local storage.

How you control cookies

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. For advertising, users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland may see Google's consent experience (Google CMP) when using AdSense. Blocking some cookies may break parts of the site.

Cookie categories

Essential

  • Local preferences: theme or UI choices stored in your browser where applicable.
  • Site functionality: features required for basic operation, such as theme preferences where applicable.

Analytics (Vercel)

In production we use Vercel Web Analytics to collect aggregated usage metrics. These technologies help us understand which pages are useful and whether the site performs well. See Vercel's documentation for details on what they process.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We load the Google AdSense script on pages so Google can verify the property, serve ads where enabled, and measure delivery. In the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Google may also show its consent platform (CMP) to collect ad-related choices. Google and its partners may set cookies or use similar storage for these purposes, including personalized ads where allowed by law. Details: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Third-party links

Our educational pages may link to third-party websites. Those sites have their own cookie practices, which we do not control.
